My 8 year old wanted to be Toad for Halloween so I carefully read the sizing information on this and other listings and purchased the Medium, which corresponds to a USA size 8-10. After waiting over a week for it to arrive, the packaging clearly states "USA size 8-10...for 5-7 year olds". Shouldn't a size 8-10 fit an 8-10 year old, or did I miss something? This would have been great information to have before I made my purchase. My 3rd grader looks borderline silly in it, and he's not a big kid. So be very careful when selecting your size and save yourself having to deal with costume exchanges before Halloween like me! Other than that, it's a perfectly decent costume.

I ordered a large, and received a medium. When I contacted the vendor, they refused to send me a large and told me that a return/ exchange will be due to remorse and that they would not refund the whole thing. This is what I think happened: I ordered the large, but the vendor forget to update the inventory in time (because when I looked back on Amazon, the sizes said 'large-null') so they sent me a medium in hopes that I couldn't tell the difference. I have worked for a vendor before, and we always worked under the motto that 'the customer is always right'.

I got the toad costume in a child size large. I wore it to my kids Halloween parties at school - they were Yoshi and Mario so it was a family event. The hat was much better than I thought it would be - lush and substantial. The hat easily fit my head and my kids. I also wore the vest which was typical costume material.
